1. Black Eyed Peas - Be Nice Feat. Snoop Dogg

今週のおすすめ曲一曲目は、Black Eyed PeasがSnoop Doggをフィーチャーした「Be Nice」です。Black Eyed Peasは昨年10月に通算7作目となる『Masters Of The Sun Vol.1』をリリースしており、「Be Nice」はそれ以来の新曲となります。ミュージックビデオに登場する、ニコちゃんマークのパーカーを着たBlack Eyed PeasとSnoop Doggがポップでかわいいです！

2. Pharrell Williams - Letter To My Godfather

お次にご紹介するのは、Pharrell WilliamsがNetflixで本日6月7日より配信されている『The Black Godfather（ブラック・ゴッドファーザー: クラレンス・アヴァントの軌跡）』に提供された楽曲、「Letter To My Godfather」です。クラレンス・アヴァントはサセックス・レコードのオーナーを務めた人物で、ブラック・ミュージック界のゴッドファーザーとも呼ばれています。『The Black Godfather』は数々の著名人から信頼される真の指導者であり、音楽や映画・テレビ、政治などさまざまな分野における陰の立役者でもあるクラレンス・アヴァントの人生をたどったものです。

3. Mabel - Mad Love

こちらは、8月2日にデビューアルバムを発売する、Mabelの最新曲「Mad Love」です。Mabelは、イギリスを拠点に活動する新人シンガー・ソングライターで、2019年1月にリリースした、シングル「Don’t Call Me Up」が、全英シングル・チャートで3位を獲得し、8週連続トップ10入りを果たしました。Mabelの父親はマッシヴ・アタックやポーティスヘッド、シュガーベイブス、オール・セインツらとの作品で知られるプロデューサーのキャメロン・マクヴェイで、今も英国音楽界で最も尊重される番人の一人です。母親はネナ・チェリー、世代を超えた音楽とスタイルをもつスーパースターで、音楽ジャンルなどものともしなかった女性なのです。そんな両親の血を引き継いだMabel。今人気のR&Bシンガーなので是非チェックしておいてください！

4. Madonna - Dark Ballet

Madonnaが来たるニュー・アルバム『Madame X』より新曲「Dark Ballet」のミュージック・ビデオを公開しました！

Madonnaは、SNSで新聞「ニューヨークタイムズ」の別冊雑誌『ニューヨークタイムズ・マガジン』に掲載された彼女のインタビュー記事に「控えめに言ってもこの記事には失望した」と怒りを表しています。その記者は、インタビューで終始Madonnaの年齢について質問したりこだわっていたそうです。

To say that I was disappointed in the article would be an understatement- It seems. You cant fix society And its endless need to diminish, Disparage or degrade that which they know is good. Especially strong independent women. The journalist who wrote this article spent days and hours and months with me and was invited into a world which many people dont get to see, but chose to focus on trivial and superficial matters such as the ethnicity of my stand in or the fabric of my curtains and never ending comments about my age which would never have been mentioned had I been a MAN! Women have a really hard time being the champions of other women even if. they are posing as intellectual feminists. Im sorry i spent 5 minutes with her. It makes me feel raped. And yes I’m allowed to use that analogy having been raped at the age of 19. Further proof that the venerable N.Y.T. Is one of the founding fathers of the Patriarchy. And I say—-DEATH TO THE PATRIARCHY woven deep into the fabric of Society. I will never stop fighting to eradicate it. 💔
